Ponderosa Functional Health
Holistic Nurse-led Coaching
After more than 8 years of nursing experience spanning both bedside and clinic settings, I’ve had the privilege of caring for people through some of the most vulnerable, life-changing, and emotionally complex moments of their lives. Much of my experience has centered around women’s health, including caring for women during labor, postpartum recovery, and other deeply personal seasons that require not only clinical knowledge, but compassion, presence, and trust.
Over the years, I began noticing how many people — especially women — were leaving healthcare encounters feeling dismissed, rushed, unheard, overwhelmed, or disconnected from their own bodies. I saw how often symptoms were minimized, stress was overlooked, and people were left trying to navigate chronic symptoms, hormonal changes, burnout, or nervous system overwhelm largely on their own. At the same time, my own experiences as a patient gave me an even deeper understanding of how exhausting and isolating the wellness journey can sometimes feel.
Those experiences are a large part of what inspired me to create Ponderosa Functional Health.
My approach is rooted in the belief that wellness should feel supportive, realistic, and personal — not overwhelming or out of reach. I believe true wellness involves looking at the whole person, including lifestyle, stress, nervous system health, habits, environment, emotional well-being, and the everyday realities of life that impact how we feel physically and mentally.
When working with me, clients can expect a grounded, compassionate approach centered around feeling heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is not perfection, quick fixes, or fear-based wellness, but rather helping people better understand their bodies, reconnect with themselves, and build sustainable wellness practices that work in real life.
Outside of my work, I’m also a wife, mom, nature lover, and someone who deeply values authenticity, connection, and slowing down enough to truly care for ourselves in meaningful ways. I believe healing often begins with feeling safe, supported, and less alone — and I hope to create a space that reflects exactly that.
I can't wait to start working with you!
